THE OAMARU MURDER CASE.
I *• [by telegraph]. ' O amaeu, July 20. . The .hearing of the case ag-aingt Alexander Beattie, charged with murder, was continued to-day. The only fresh evidence was that on the llith ot June the prisoner gave an adze to a man named Willets, who said he saw some olood ou the"back"oj it, and handed it to the police. Ihe case will jiiobahly last till Saturday.
