, It is slated that in compiling the \ j forthcoming American cen.-.us, the wheat j statistics were collected by the Department of Agriculture, and those of flour by the Department of Manufactures. On comparing results it was found that there were 55,000,000 pounds more of flour manufactured t^an there were of wheat grown.
