BRIGHAM YOUNG NOT DEAD

o An Omaha letter in the ~New York World says : — A Josephi.e Mormon lately from Salt Lake expresses the opinion that Brigham Young is not dead, but that he is concealed, and will in due time appear to his people and pretend that God has '• resurrected" him to lead them out of their troubles. The gentleman in question saw the alleired body of the prof bet, anr- says that while there was a strong re emblance, it was not in reality the corpse of Young. He declares that he is not alone in this view, as not less than a hundred of his acquaintances express a similar belief. While here he visited some ol the Omaha Jose-diif.es, and it was to them he made the revelations ol the plan by "which Brigham Young is to create the greatest sensation of modern times. He had many business dealings with the prophet, and was intimately acquainted with him He asserts that, with the complete organisation and secret workings of the church, it would be an easy matter to keep Brigham Young concealed for almost any length of time, and rep-oduce him wheu most needed to revive the faith of believers by his alleged resurrection.
