In such cases it is the duty oi the Public Trustee to discharge all lega! debts so far as the assets extenJ, ' and divide the residue amongst the next of kin. 4. The administration of the estates of lunatics, lunatic patients, and convicts. 5.- The charge of all lands lyingwaste and unoccupied of which' the owner is unknown, or who has been absent from the colony for ten yearshaving left no known ugvnt.
