The business done during the week' has been of a most unimportant character. Good, stout, shori milting are saleable at from Is (jd to Lsfcklper bushel; feed quality. Malsters and brewers are tolerably well suppli -d, and nothing but exceptionally fine qua'i'y will tempt them, anel that too at a moderate price. Fair malting quality may be quoted at from 2s 3d to 2s (Jd per bushel; extra prime. 2s Sd to 3s (>d ; feed samples, Is »>d to Is yd per bushel. Grass Sued. —The demand is hardly so good. A few transactions have taken ph.ee at from 2s 6d to 2s 10d per bushel; these have been farmers' parcels, but of exceptionally good quality.
