That British officers ara by no means the “ caroet knights” some would represent them to be, may be gathered from the following clip from a letter by the Daily News special correspjndent with the army on the Zulu frontier, Mr Forbes:—“ We hare some wonderfully hard men out here in this force— men who seem to know what fatigue means.
