MORRINSVILLE DAIRY FACTORY.
LARGE INCREASE IN OUTPUT. The annual report of Che Morrinsville Co-operative Dairy Company on the operations for the past year indues the following:— “All the season’s exportable surplus has been sold on open consignment, but the final: payments will he as prompt as in past seasons. Advances against butter-fat during the season have averaged 14.758 d. In the appropriation account there is still available £11.122' 10s 2d. of which a bonus of one penny per pound over the whole season has already been distributed. bringing payment to 15.578 d, and leaving a balance of £7052 3s 4cl still available. Tt is proposed to pay this mil as soon as possible, in a manner as under :. Further payment of Id, absorbing £4 070 12s iOcl: further payment of t.631d, £6639 11s 9d; dividend of 51 per cent.. £l4O 1 ss: carrying forward, £271 16s Id. The new system of cream carl age lias worked well, averaging a cost of .61 Id per lb hulter-fat. The season's pay-out is therefore summarised as follows: Average advance, ti.7sßd: surpluses available. 2.631(1: cost, of collection, .61 Id; average pay-out. tSd. Another £SO has been placed lo reserve account. and this now stands at £4 93 13s 2d.
