Shy—i, with a number of convenors and committeemen, take strong exception to the special notice appearing in your issue of the 20th insl.. over the signature of J. Russell. While we concede to Mr Russell Ihe right to speak on behalf of those with whom he is associated, we consider he has exceeded that rigid: when lie speaks on behalf, of the New Zealand Go-op-erative Dairy Company’s committees of the Lower Waikato. II seems to me that Mr Russell lias yet to learn that it is not one of Hie functions of suppliers’ committees to convene meetings in the interests of the opposition. —I am, etc.,- —
