The chief sprint event is the Tuakau Hack Flying of £4O, distance 6 furlongs. The other events completing the programme are • Rama Rama Hack Huddles of £3O, 1 miles ; Maiden Plate; of £3O, 6 furlongs; Bombav Hack Welter of £3O, 7 furlongs : * Waiuku Hack of £3O, 5 furlongs District Handicap of £25, 7 furlongs, for horses owned, within a radius of 20 miles of the Pukekohe Post Office, that have never won an advertised (race of any, description at the time of starting. Nominations for all events close with the secretary (Mr A. P. Daysh) on. or before Friday, January 19th, 1923. Weights will be declared on Wednesday, January 24th. Acceptances close on Tuesday, January 30th, at 5 p.m.
