Some of the electors have very curious methods of exercising the franchise, and the official count of votes in the Auckland Central elcc-tox-ate has ijwealed some strangely marked ballot papers. One voter ballot papers. One voter struck out the two top lines of printed directions on the electoral paper, while another struck out the two bottom lines of directions. Another elector went so far as to cross out two top lines, and the two bottom lines of the directions. One voting paper bore this remarkable inscription, “Refused to vote, t will vole for Jesus Christ.”
