November 30th, we had a good entry e,t sheep and including several. lots of prime shorn show sheep which soici under keen competition at (from 33s £2, while show hoggets (out oi the wool) made 28s to £1 10s ; other fat sho-rn wethers 26s 6d to 275; , fat ewes 24s 6d to 26s 6d ; fat >ambs 23s 4cl unfinished! ewes 20s 3d. Every pen was required ifor the cattle, all classes being- well represented. There was steady competition practically everything being sold. Extra hpavy prime steers £8 17s 6d to £2; medium to heavy weights £6 15s to £8 ; lighter weight beef £5 to £6 13s ; heavy fat cows and heifers £5 10s to £6 10s » C'or heavy prime) ; other tillable cows £3 10s to £5 ; forward cows £2 5s to £3 2s ; store cows £1 to’ £2 ; cows with calves £2 8s to £3 55;22 2 year steers (good) £3 ss. to £3 11s 15 months steers 35s to £2 15s ; Jersey and Jersey-cross yearling heifers (small) £4 5s to £4~10s? good yearling Shorthorn heifers £3 5s ; dairy cattle were well represented, ail good sorts selling freely.
