Ar effort is being made by the member for Patea to arrange for a floating booth for the convenience of isolated settlers on the Wanganui River. The suggestion is that a suitabLe launch should be fitted up and be at certain points at specified times, and so enablia settle'rs who have no roads to conveniently record their votes. The chairman of the River Trust has promised every assistance if the Registrar-General of Electors will consent to the proposal.
