RIFLE SHOOTING.
HAWKESBURY V. DOOKIE COLLEGE. SUCCESS OF STUDENT BLAKE. WINS AGGREGATE TROPHY. * Mr G. A. (Archie) Blake, son of Mr and Mrs" Geo Blake, of Pukekohe, who was educated at Pukekohe, and later at the Auckland- Seddon Memorial Technical College, but who is now a student of the Hawkesbury Agricultural College, is making a name for Himself with the rifle. The September number of the College’s Journal reveals the fact that a rifle shooting match between the Hawkesbury College, N.5.,W., and Dookie College, Vic* took place. Student Blake represented the Hawkesbury College, and it is pleasing to chronicle he topped the score for his college and also against his opponents. Dealing with the match the Journal says : “The shooting was good, particularly that of Studient Blake, who put up an aggregate of 75 out of 80 with a club rifle, and won the trophy for the best aggregate of the match. His . detailed scores were : •' 300 yards.—s 4 5 4 4 5 5 5. SX)O yards."-—5 5555 44 5.
