QUEEN CARNIVAL.
Banking has been very heavy the last few' days, and about £630 all told ktas been banked. The Sports Queen has again taken fhe lead, with thq Trades’ Queen hard held, running second. The Fairy Queen has jumped up to fourth position, while the Franklin Queen has also moved along considerably. The last four queens now- are fairly dose together The votes of the leading queens are: Sports .12,085 ; Trades 11,304 ; Farmers’ 7607 : Fairy 5364 : Flower 5064.
