A NEW INDUSTRY.
A secondary industry that is so closely allied to a primary industry as dehydration should prove not only profitable but necessary to this fine agricultural district. The establishment of a dehydration plant in Pukekohe would mean an incentive to crop growing and /the profitable manufactory of products which would bring much wealth into this district, There is no new industry so adaptable to Pukekohe as this suggested one of a dehydration plant. and evtfry thinking grower and citizen should 1 at least attend Mr Morton’s meeting and] find out personally just what the possibilities really are. Ladies should certainly be present in large numbers, as their knowledge of the handling of commodities for cooking purposes will impress mere man as to whether the idea from a consumer’s point of view is practicable Or not. Pukekohe can do with more manufactories, and this seems a really good chance to secure a useful and profitable one.
