DRURY. ODDFELLOWS’ BALL. The Drury branch of the Manchester Unity, 1.0.0. F. held their first ball in the Drury flail last Wednesday nightj, 27th September, The night burned out very w.et, which held a lot of guests from attendingWe had the pleasure of a visit by two of outrj District Officers. Bro. P. A. Sayers, D.D.G.M, who gave a very interesting address on the benefits of being an Oddfellow. There was our worthy District Secretary, Bro, John McLeod, present. Bro. P. A. Sayers, with* Miss P. Snelgar, led the G.rand March. Bro. John McLeod, with Mrs Hall. followed second, and performed their respective parts vhth credit. Papakura Lodge was well represented with a few of their members. Bro. PSnelgar and Bro, Jas. Cossey gave every satisfaction as M.’s C. The Masons were represented, also the American Order of Oddfellows. Some very pretty dresses were to be sen.
