Wijth reference to the Council’s Idttef requesting an assurance that the balance of £2OO in connection with the Franklin Road-Cape Hill Road vote be paid over during the current financial year, the Prime Minister, (Rt, Ron. W. F. Massey) advised the Borough Council at last meeting that the .Minister of PublicWork's had agreed to Issue an authority (for the balance of (the vote, so that payment could be made to the Council immediately the District Engineer satisfied himself that the work had been satisfactorily carried out. The clerk said Ihe necessary papers had arrived. The Mayor stated that the whole of the £SOO grant was now authoryised.
