OBITUARY.

MR FRANK JACKSON. A well known personality in this district died suddenly in the Auckland hospital on Saturday last in the person of Mr Frank. Jackson. The late gentleman worked as a lad at Mr McGowan’s store, which later became Perkins and Co. He continued "ith Messrs Perkins and Co. as foreman for about ten years,, after which the deceased went into ' business on his own account as proprietor of the Puni store. Selling out, lie commenced business at Te Papapa. Deceased was very well known about Pukekohe and Otaluihu, and bad many friends who will deeply regret his passing. The interment took place yesterday.
