THE GENERAL ELECTION.
THE RAGLAN SEAT. MR D. FULTON NOT A CANDIDATE, For some time past rumours have been in circulation thdt the reason Mr Dynes Fulton was not seeking eelection to the Tuakau Town Board was because he had an eye on the Raglan seat at the forthcoming general election. At the “wind up" meeßing of the Tuakau Town Board on Friday, the suggestion reached Mr Fulton’s ears, but he gave the soft impeachment an emphatic denial. He added that he had never given the matteV thought-. Mr Fulton referred in glowing /terms to the assistance given to Tuakau district by the member for Raglan (Mr R. F. Bollabd). In many instances Mr Bollard had gone out of his way to help Tuakau, a fact that was appreciated, added the speaker. He was indeed a good representative. “You can take it from me,, I am not congesting the seat,” concluded Mr Fulton.
