AT WAIUKU. A very successful race meeting, under the auspices of the Pakuranga Hunt Club> was held in Waiuku last Saturday on the properties of Messrs C. J Ho'sking and E. Barribal. Over 1500 people attended and a; grassy knoll made an excellent natural rAii cistsntl, . The point ‘t ; o point races proved *ntensely interesting and some excellent riding and jumping was witnessed. There were several (falls, fortunately none of them attended with serious consequences. The Waiuku Town Band pr ovided music and added to the pleasure oi the day. In the evening a very successtu. Hunt Ball was held.
