SUPPLEMENT FAR Y LOAN C.F £IO.OOO, RATEPAYERS SUPPORT PROPOSAI* LOAN POLL TO-MORROW. 1 A large and representative gathering of ratepayers of Papakura was heid in Richardson’s Halit last evening. Particulars concerning the pro. posai to raise :a supplementary loan of £16,000 for the purpose of completing the water scheme were* out-ined. It was pointed out that the oiigin. al loan of £28,000 was for the reticulatum of /the oVJ Town Board district with a supply main made down the Hunua Gorge Road. Owing to the action of the Franklin County Council; in compelling 'the Board to keep the main off the road, an extra expense of £2OOO had been :f<*r cod upon the Board in laying t.nj mains through the bush. _ Moreover, the Board considered that the-.cuter area lately added to the Town District should have reticulation equal t« that of the inner area.
