The Rev. J. Olphert, who has made a good recovery returned home yesterday and will conduct the morning service in the. Methodist Church on Sunday.
The 'Pukekohe Band has kindly offered to play during the afternoon at the opening ceremony of the new Buckland Hall on Wednesday nek/ June 7th The', Band has also been engaged for the evening at the concert and dance. The winter bowling season as far as Pukekohe is concerned, will be officially’ opened to-morrow (King’s Birthday) with an all-day tourney. A large number of teams liave been entered, including outside inks. Keen and exciting games are anticipated.
