VALEDICTORY,
There was 1 a large attendance of members and friends in the Methodist Church on Thursday afternoon to bid farewell to Mrs and Miss Goldsworthy who have gone to reside in Auckland. For a ,number of years the r|iests of the aftei noon have been closely associated with all the activities of the church, and their removal will be keenly feit by their fellow workers. On behalf of the congregation, Mr Hubbard presented Mrs Goldsworthy with a fine Bags tor’s Bible, and Rev. ,J. Olphert presented Miss Goldsworthy with a richly-bound copy of thef Methodist Hymnal with music. Afternoon tea and friendly talk completed a hcaity farewell! gather in g.
