GARDE N PARTY.

Perfect weather favoured the busy workers of the Methodist Sunday School at their fete in the Domain on Saturday afternoon (April Ist). The fine music of the Pukekohe Brass Band contributed in no small measure to the success of the gathering. A good supp'y of fancy work, useful articles, produce, fruit and pot plants found ready purchasers. A well-laden gift tree supplied the needs of the children. Flower girls and. purveyors of sweets/ did brisk business and the afternoon tea tabjes were well patronised during the afternoon. Towards the close of the day Mr Stembridge kindly auctioned the remaining goods, everything being sold. The effort realised £24, clear cf expenses.
