X'CCSED BEFORE THE COURT.
COMMITTED FOR TRIAL,
At the Police Court on Thursday, before Messrs F. Perkins and J. G r Russel!, J’s.P., Charles John Williams, labourer, of Mercer, v/as charged that on or about 20th November, 1921, at Te Rangi, near Mercer, he did carnally know a female person under the age of 16 years and over the age of 12 years. The evidence was of an unreportable nature. Accused pleaded not guilty, leserved his defence, and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial.
