PAPAKURA NOTES.

ODDFELLOWS MEETING. the usual fortnightly meeting of the Manchester Unity OcLIL Hows of the Loyal Papakura Lodge was held in Richardson s Hall on Thursday night, and although the weather was stormy and wet there was a good attendance. A report of the District Conference, held at Hamilton, was given by the Lodge deputy, Mr Woodhouse, and a vote of thanks was accorded to him. It was decided, weather permitting, that the Loyal Papakura Lodge would pay the Pensonbyi Lodge a visit on March 6th, and an invitation be extended to all member's who .can make it convenient to come ; a mStor r bus leaving at 6 p.m. A few new members were proposed for initiation, and the new Lodge bids fair to become a thriving institution in the district.
