Public Notices. TENDERS' FOR LEASE OF CERTAIN LANDS. PURSUANT to Section 2 of the 1 Public Reserves and Domains Amendment Act, 1911, the above Board invites tenders for the lease of all that land, beingPart lot 3 of 4, of 7, Clendon’s Grant;, area 1 rood 13.3 perches. Part lot 2 of 4, of 7, Clendon’s Grant, area 3 roods 8.4 perches. A plan cf which may be seen at the office of the Board, for a period of twenty-one years with right of renewal for a further period of twenty-one years. The terms and conditions of lease to be such as may be prescribed or approved by the Governor in Council. The rent to be payable half-yearly in advance. Tenderers to name the annual rent which they are prepared to pay. Tenders to close at the Board’s Office, Manurewa, on TUESDAY, the 14th day of March. 1922, at 4 p.m. All tenders to be accompanied by a cheque for the first half-year’s rent. WHEREAS all the steps prescribed by the Local* Bodies Loans Act, 1913, for raising* the Special loan hereinafter mentioned wfth the consent of the ratepayers affected and without a poll have been duly taken, and such consent has been duly given ; NOW THEREFORE it is hereby resolved as a Special Ohder at the Special Meeting duly called for the purpose that a Special Loan of £IOOO (One Thousand Pounds) be raised by the Manurewa Town Board under the said Act for the purpose of constructing a road through Sections 14, 15, 16, and 56 of that Subdivision of part of lot seven of Clenlon’s Grant to conect Massey Road with the Great South Road and of purchasing the land through which the roacl is to run, and also that the cost of raising the loan, together with the first year’s interest and sinking fund during the construction of the works be paid out of the loan. The resolution making the above Special Order was duly passed at a Special Meeting of the Manurewa Town Board hold on the 27th February, 1922, and will beconfirmed at an ordinary meeting of the said Board to be held on MONDAY, the 27th March, 1922.
