PUKEKOHE TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL.

MEETING OF BOARD OF MANAGERS. The Board of Managers of .the Pukekohe and District Technical High School met on Tuesday night, when there were present Messrs A. F. Brown, C. Cooper, Jas. Crobie, F. J. Morrow, J. Patter-son, J. C-.. Ward, Mrs Perkins, and Mr \V. F. J- Monro, (Director). Apologies for absence were received from Messrs F. Perkins and Jas. Roulston. Owing to the chairman, Mr F. Perkins, being' absent, Mr A. F, Brown was voted to the chair. Me John Patterson verbably tendered his resignation as a member of the Board following on his resignation as a member of 'the Borough Council.

Members spoke in high appreciation of the services rendered to education by Mr Patterson, and he was requested to reconsider his decision. However, it was resolved not to accept the resignation. Mr Patterson protested, but order to protect the validity of the meeting he asked that a minute be taken of his protest against the resolution that the resignation be not accepted. Accounts amounting to £72 18s were passed for payment. The Director thanked all who had assisted in connection with the most successful sports meeting held in December last.

Anoither sports meeting will beheld on Saturday, March 25th.
