MARKET REPORT. The Franklin Fanners’ Auctioneering Co. Ltd.., report:— At our usual weekly sale onF riday, we had a good attendance. Entriesin pigs were below the average, and prices ruled better than the previousweek. Poultry, fruit, produce and vegetables came forward in heavy enrties, and old at good prices. Poultry sold at.: Hens 3s to 4s 10 each, roosters 3s |to 4s 6d, ducks 2s 6d to 3s 6d, Fruit: Plums 2s 9d to 4s box, nectarines 5s to 6s box, tomatoes 3s 6d box, peaches 5s to 6s 6d box, apples 2s 6d to 3s 3d half bushel ; 5s to 6s 6d bushel cases. Peas Is to Is 6:1 peck, beans nqt saleable, onions 5s to 6s cwt. A large quantity of sundries sold a.t satisfactory prices.
