SEMI-FINAL PRESIDENT’S FOURS

The semi-final of the President’s fours competition was played last' week, when Maxwell, Ward, Crosbie, and F. Brown beat F. Porter, jun., G. G. Littlejohn, Webster and Armstrong by a narrow margin. The final will be played later. CHRISTMAS TOURNEY.

The Pukekohe Club wpll be represented at the Auckland Centre’s Bowling Tournament by two links, skipped by G, H. Armstrong and H» V. Gribble. DEVONPORT V. PUKEKOHE. I On Saturday last four rinks, including a first-year’s rink, from Pukekohe visited Devonport to (try conclusions with the Devonport Club. Harvey, Hynes, McArthur, Ling 12. t AT PUKEKOHE. Three rinks from Devonport journeyed to Pukekohe and were successful against the home team. \ On behalf of the home club, Mr G. Adams J. H Keith (challengers) 22 v. Bullock, Buchan, Bockett, W. Blake (holders) 14.
