DEFENCE NOTES.
The musketry classification course for infatftry was commenced on Saturday 17th, at Pukekohe. During the afternoon the infantry competed for a -safety razor, given by Pukekohe Sports Club. The possible points were 45; and was won by G. Fitness with 42. Among tthe keen competitors ivfcre feergt.- Major F. Golding, Sergt. 0. Short, Corpl. Patterson, 'l'widle, Fisk* Waters, Stevenson, G. By croft, W. Fausett, andi others.
