Hon Monday evening, December 12th, H .thfe Methodist Hall, Papakura, the Bnual social meeting of members Bd subscribers of the above Society Bas held, and although the attendBce was not large, a very pleasant Bening was spent. The President Bfr Percy Holt ) took the chair, Bd read the report of the season’s Hork. At the commencement of the Bason the old Musical Society and Hrchestral Society united. During Hie seasoi: nine concerts had been Hven'i in Papakura and thfe surroundHg district, and in all of them exHllent programmes had been provided, ■here were at present 79 mem■ers, 43 honorary members, and 36 Ordinary members.
