MAJOR MITFORD-BURGESS.
AN EX-ARMY OFFICER. 1
The death occurred at the schoolhouse, Paparata, on Monday last of Major Charles Mitford-Burgess, husband of Mrs E. B, Mitford-Burgess, from double pneumonia, after an illness extending over six days. Deceased, who had been schoolmasterat Paparata for *the last few months, was formerly a major of the late sth Battalion Rifle Brigade (Tower Ham-; lets). The funeral took place aft' Bombay on Wednesday.
