BOROUGH BY-LAWS BROKEN;
For shatttering the Pukekohe Borough by-laws by leaving a horse and gig unattended‘in King Street on November 3rd, Wilfred Roulston, who did not not appear, was convicted and fined 5s and 7s costs* BUTCHER, THE BAKER BOY. 'Henry Butcher, who drives a baker’s cart, received a piece of blue paper for leaving a horse and a baker’s cart unattended on November 14th, pleaded guilty, and this week he will have 12s less for pocket money. as he was fined 5s and ordered to pay 7s Court costs. “WILLIE’S” HORSE WANDERS. William Wilson, sen., who permitted a horse to stroll about Station Road on November 16th, was called on to explain the reason. William did not appear, but sent along a note admitting the Breach of the Borough bylaws. He was fined 5s and. ordered to pay 7s Court costs. WESTON FINED. George Weston, for allowing his horse to wander in Hall Street on November 16th, and which came into the possession of Constable Wol. fendale who impounded it, did not appear, and was fined 5s and ordered to pay 7s Court costs. JUVENILE OFFENDERS. ALLEGED THEFT. At a sitting of the Juvenile Court, four juvfeniles from Tuakau were charged that on diverse dates in October and November/they stole from Messrs Frost Bros.’ factory at Tuakau, 3 tins of milk, valued at 3s 6d, six loaves of bread' valued at 7s 3d, 4lbs of sugar, 2s, a leaf of bread, valued at Is and! sugatf ‘to the valjue of .s. . The evidence of the police was that the premises were entered »y day and by night and the articles taken. The charge against one lad was dismissed, and the other three were admonished and discharged, and ordered to pay costs amounting to 13s 4d between them.
