McLeod, Maxwell Walker (Ponsonbv) and .James Roulston, David Roulston, Duncan Roulston, G. H. Armstrong was watched with considerable interest, and indeed was very close for the first ten Leads when Walker’s rink forged ahead, and When the final head whs reached the score was Walker 20, Armstrong 13. Bofth rinks played excellent bowls, particularly the winners. Walker and his men received congratulations on all sides, they having gone through the tourney without -x loss. At the conclusion of jjfhe plav, Mr James Roulston presented the med'als to the winning rink, and in doing so congratulated the winners om their meritorious performance. cheers were given for the winners, and Mi Walker, in responding, (hanked the local club ‘for the manner in which it had entertained the visiting bowlers. Cheers were then given for Pukekohe and the ladies, who had assisted with £he refreshments arrangements.
