TENNIS.

OPENING OF COURTS. The openinig of the Pukekohe Tea* nis courts took place on Saturday last, under good weather conditions. There was a large attendance ox members, and many playing from' other numerous clubs. The president (Mr W. P. Hopkins) opened the courts, and called upon Mrs I. Motion to put the: first ball over. During the afternoon , many good games w'ere played, and all present were entertained to afternoon tea.
