MR J. RAMSAY APPOINTED. ‘ Intimation has been received from Wellington that Mr J. Ramsay, ret lieving postmaster at Auckland, has feeen appointed postmaster .at Puke- . kohe. Mr Ramasy was formerly postmaster at Warkworth,' and for a short period, about nine months ago, was flieving Mr J. H. Waters here. During his short stay in Pukekohe i made numerous friends, and was ' indeed very popular, so Pukekohe can <•; Congratulate itself on the recent ap(poinjtment. Mr Ramsay will take up ■ • his duties here shortly.
