ONEWHERO HALL.
( To the Editor.)
Sir, —May I submit a small matter to deliberation by your readers. The district in which I live is now widely disturbed by the following question. Having long had two separate and small public halls, it is now suggested that these should be united, as a building of a size worthy of the district, this to be erected on a fine strip of land reserved to the public use and lying along a good length of the main road. The question arising is whether to put this new hail at the end of this reserve nearest the business centre of the township, or at the other end, which, though more elevated, is less central. A third view is that the hall, like the church, should occupy a half-way position, to which view I myself infeline.—l am, etc.,
RAIL-SITTER.
