MARKET REPORTS. Messrs Brassey and Co. report thqt at their sale on Friday last, furniture sundries and produce came forward in large entries, and were readily disposed of at top prices. Other sales were effected as follows : Cauliflowers from Is to 3s 6d each, apples 13s 6d case, southern potatoes 14s (2cwt bags) ; pigs, weaners, from 25s to' 355, poultry 3s 6d to 6s/. Cows entered were high in bone and low in flesh, only one changing hands. The Franklin Farmers’ Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report At our usual weekly sale we had a good attendance, with good entries in all lines except poultry. In this line it was below the average and very much below requirements. Pigs came forward in good numbers. Bidding was spirited. Weaners sold at an advance from the previous week. Weaners, small, 15s to 20s, good 22s 6d to 28s, stores 30s to 40s.
