TO STRIKE RATE. The Manurewa Town Board hereby give notice of its. intention, at an Ordinary Meeting to be held on the 12th day of September, 1921, under Section 35 of “The Town Boards Act, 1908, and Section 41 of “The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909, to make and levy for the period commencing the Ist day of April, 1921, and ending the 31st day of March, 1922, a General Rate of onepenny farthing’ (14/ d) in the pound and a Hospital and Charitable Aid Rate of one-fifth of a penny (l-sd) in the £, and a Special Rate of twofifths of a penny (2-sd) in the £, on the rateable value on the valuation roll, of all rateable property in the Manurewa Town District on the basis of the capital value. Also a Special Rate of five-eights of a penny (5-Sd) in the £ on the rateable value of all rateable property in the No. 1 speciai rating area on the basis of- the capital value. Such rates to be payable at the Offices of the said Manurewa Town. Rqarcl, situated at the Public Hall. Mgnurewa, in one payment .on the 27th. day of September, 1921.
