MARKET REPORT. The Franklin Farmers’ Auctioneer, ing Co., Ltd., report:— At our usual weekly sale on Friday we had an average yarding of pigs, which sold at prices in advance of recent sales. Weaners, fair 14s to 18s, good 25s to 40s; slips £2 to £2 7s 6d, stores £2 10s to £2 17s 6d. Poultry came forward in very heavy entiles anda found ready sale. Hens, poor 2s 6d to 3s, medium light sorts 3s to 3s 9cl; heavy breeds from 4s to 9s according to quality; ducks 3s 3d to 6s 6d. Potatoes, seed 7s to Ss cwt, cabbage, soft .1/6 doz; cauliflower, from 2s to 12s doz.-; onions, repicked, from l->d to Id per lb, sound pumpkins, 8s cwt; other vegetables at usual prices; apples, 6s 6d to 8s 6d case. A miscellaneous collection of entries in back yard, among which

a potato sprayer, was sold for £lO. The Overland motor car advertised, for sale was offered, the biddingstarted at £l5O and rose to £2lO, at which figure it was passed in. A large quantity of furniture and sundries was sold at satisfactory prices. The large number of entries and the large alt tendance of the public taxed our accommodation to its utmost,,

On Saturday we held a sale of 25;000ft of timber at Patumahoe. The weather was unfavourable, bidding was slack and lagging, Excepting a

few lots of dressed timber all was sold . Rough lining and rough scantling 11s to ,14s 100 ft,, other timber sold at from 17s to 23s 100 ft.
