PAPATOETOE CLUB

THE ANNUAL MEETING

The annual meeting of the Fapatoetoe Bowling Club was held on 'Friday evening last In the local Town Hall, the president of the club (Mr W. Cutforth) presiding. There was a good attendance of members. The report stated that the last year had been a particularly good one, and the finances were in a satisfactory position. The winners of the various competitions for the past season were as follows Championship : H. P. Andrew. / championship :J. Franklin, Percentage fours: Messrs Kawnsley, Morgan, Wade and Lipscombe. Officers were elected for the ensuing year as follows : President, Mr W. Wilson : Vice-Presidents, Messrs W Brown and Lipscombe Committee, Messrs H. P. Andrew, W. Cutfoith, J. Tidmarsh, W. Gubb, Nettl Ingham,. J. Bryant; Secretary, Mr J. Franklin ; Treasurer, Mr J. Trimble ; auditor, Mr T. R. Smytheman : green superintendent, Mr J. Watson. It was decided to send a leter to Mr Tidmarsh, green superintendent, f o j last year, expressing appreciation of his services to the club.
