THIRD GRADE FOOTBALL.

Sir, —With . reference to your report of the Tuakau. v. Pukekohe South match, I beg to point out that the captain of the Pukekohe team was given the opportunity to “weigh out,” and to bar all over 10 stone on both sides, but refused to do so.

Now. if you will publish a statement giving the names, age. and weight of each member of the Pukekohe team that grumbled because four school boys (the heaviest .of whom was 7st 91bs) were replaced by juniors, I will forward £3. as a donation to the Franklin Rugby Union—l am etc,, W. G. GRAHAM. The report referred to above was supplied to the Times outside our reporting staff.—Ed., Times.
