OTAHUHU BOWLING CLUB.
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Otahuhu Bowling Club was recently held, when the report and balance-sheet for the year were submitted. These showed .that the club was in a favourable position financially, and the prospects for the approaching season were particularly bright. Officers were elected as follows: .President, Mr J. M. Aitken; Vice-Presidents," -- Messrs W. Ferguson and W. E. Wells; Secretary, J. Mansell; Assistant Secretary, Mr W. Best; Treasurer, Mr C, ft Whitmore; delegates to the Auckland Centre, Messrs J. M. Aitken and J, Mansell; sole selector, '■ Mr R. B. Todd; green superintendent, Mr S. E. Harper; assistant, Mr J. Crawford ; match committee, Messrs J. Melvor, W. Ferguson and J, Goodwin; general committee, Messrs Phillips, Lippiatt, Goodwin, Melvor, Gardner (jun.), and O'Connell ; first year coach, Mr S. £ Harper ; auditor, Mr H. Humphries. Winners of the various competitions for the closing year were announced as follows f Champion singles, A grade, S. E. Harper ; B grade, J. Crawford; Pairs, A grade, J. McIvor, J. W. Whyte; B grade, J. Mansell, W. E. Wells. Percentage fours, W, West, W- Ferguson, W. Best, C. Robertson ; runner-up, M. O’Connell.
