Wet and cold weather conditions continued over the week-end and the golf match to qualify for the Brosnahan Spoons was played over a heavy course. Keen competition was displayed nevertheless and the qualifying cards include several of the members of junior experience.

A fresh record for the course of nine holes was put up by Mr Brosnahan in his second round by completing the course in 40.
