CAPTAIN'S PR3ZE TOURNEY. A WIN FOR HON. A. M. MYERS. Fine weather on Saturday favoured the opening competitions in connection with the captain’s prize tourney which were played on the Mkldlemore links at Mangere, under the auspices of the Auckland Golf Club. The second round will be played to-morrow, June IS. Owing to the unfortunate congestion on the course on Saturday afternoons, the Auckland Golf Club is adopting a new system for starting play,. This will be inauguarted on July 2. This interval is given to allow members an opportunity of becoming acquainted with the new rule, details of which are posted in the j club house. I
