In spite of ideal weather conditions f:>r golf on Saturday last se.eral members did not compete in the June bogey handicap. The results showed a big improvement in the season’s standard of play and the card handed in by Mr W., Johns, “ all square,” was a good performance. The results are as follows:

Men: W. Johns, handicap 15, Jill square; L. Baylv, 15, 1 down; W. Bros.r.ahan, 9,2 down; E.-Clarke, 15, down; B. P. Hopkins 15, 7 down; W. Townsend 15, 7 down; Chas. Bonner, 16, 9 down: F. Chapman, 18, 11 down; H. Battle 17, 14 down.

Ladies: Mrs Bayly, 5, 6 down: Miss Wily, 18, 7 down; Mrs. John§, .3.5, .IS down; Mrs D Roulston, 18, 14 down. _ T3ie final for the president’s trophy is set down for Saturday next. .
