OBITUARY—MRS DONOVAN. Quite a gloom was cast over the Bombay settlement on Saturday morning when it became known that Mrs Richard Donovan, of Portsmouth Road, Bombay, had died suddenly in the early hours of the morning before Dr Wake, who was called, could arrive. The deceased was widely known and highly respected both in this district and the Waihi goldfields, where the early years of her married life was '-The late Mrs Donovan was 48 years of age and leaves her ‘ liusband and five daughters and seven sons and one grandchild to mourn their loss.
