ENTERTAINMENTS.

STRAND THEATRE. TO-NIGHT—“MILLION DOLLAR DOLLIES.” The Dolly Sisters, the stars of Metro’s romantic fantasy, ‘‘The Million Dollar Dollies,” which will be the attraction at the Strand Theatre to-night, were born for the screen. Tne. sprightly grace developed by their wonderful dancing qualifies them- as exceptional performers for the silver sheet. Director Lcence Pei ret saw these “Dancing Dollies ’ at a prominent vaudeville house in New York, and his trained eye was caught by their iithesomeness, their personalities, and their nimble bodies, the expressiveness of their twinkling feet, and their procative faces “Absolutely,” he said to himself, “The Dolly Sisters” are born for the screen.” See this picture; it is good.

TH URSDAY —"A VIRTUOUS VAMP/' “A Virtuous Vamp" is farce comedy. but it is entirely logical, and more than that, it gives Constance Talmadge the best opportunity she has ever had to demonstrate her talents as a comedienne. Just spicy enough to be audacious, it still has the necessary delicacy to provide exquisite enjoyment of all classes of tastes. Taken from Clyde Fitch’s great comedy,.. "The Bachelor, its laughs follow on each other’s heels throughout. The screen adaptation was written by those masters of screencraft, John Emerson and Anita Loos, and the result is a comedy de luxe that furnishes a rare opportunity for a hilarious evening’s entertainment.
