PETITION FOR ANOTHER POLL At the last meeting of the kohe Borough Council a petitio ,signed by 155 ratepayers was brougf forward praying for a new poll ( the Roose’s Bush loan. The petitio alleged that owing to there being £ many informal votes cast at the pol the opinion of the ratepayers had no been definitely expressed. The clerk pointed out that unt the Government had notified them 0 the sanctioning of the money no a< lion could be taken. The petition was ordered to 1 left on the table in the. meantime.
